Crime summary
Burglary – There are no burglaries or burglaries to sheds, garages or outbuildings to report this week.
With the warmer weather coming please remember to keep all sheds, garages and outbuildings locked when not in use. See our website for crime prevention information.

PCSO Patrols

Our PCSOs have been out and about again this week. On Sunday 9th they were out on foot patrol in north Horsham and on Saturday 15th they were in Horsham Park between 1pm and 7pm to speak to local residents and also to speak to youths about knife crime.

Also on Saturday they were in Mill Square in Storrington doing another street briefing speaking to local residents.

UN Global Road Safety Campaign
This week is Un Global Road safety week which promotes safe speeds on ‘low speed streets’ within local neighbourhoods. Sussex police will be providing a lot of visibility and will be conducting speed checks to provide education and enforcement in residential areas. Please log onto the Sussex Police Facebook page and also our Roads Policing Unit and Sussex Safer Roads Facebook pages to see more.

Vehicle Crime
Over the last week there have been 10 reports of vehicle crime. Some vehicles that had items stolen were left unlocked but on a few occasions number plates were stolen. If you’ve been a victim of car crime, please report it to us by calling 101 or reporting it online.
