Help your scheme think about the future

Hello Resident

Thinking about the future is always at the forefront of our minds and is certainly something that we all should be addressing as part of the normal day-to-day workings of our schemes.  After many conversations with Coordinators, through focus groups, workshops and 1-2-1 meetings, we have developed a “Succession Planning Toolkit” to help you develop your own plan.

The plan itself identifies 3 simple ways that will support the longevity of the scheme, provide you with additional support and offer reassurance to your members, partners and Associations know what those plans are.

Succession planning is not just about what happens with your scheme when you are unable to do your role, but it is about making sure that the future of the scheme is secure and that you have played your part in ensuring this happens.

Please click HERE to view the toolkit, talk it through with your members and let others know your plan.

We are delighted to have collaborated with volunteers, doing the same role as you, to produce this toolkit for you and we hope that you find the advice useful and easy to follow.

Best wishes

Cheryl
