Witness appeal following fire in Horsham

Officers investigating a fire in Horsham are appealing for witnesses to come forwards.
Police were called by fire crews to a blaze in Old Wickhurst Lane in Horsham at 4.45pm on Tuesday (11 August).

A large grassy area was burnt but no injuries were reported.

Two 14-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of arson and have been released under investigation.

Officers are working to identify two additional male suspects who may have been involved in the incident.

Detective Sergeant Joanna Duncan said: "We're appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time or who saw what happened to come forwards and speak to us.
"We suspect that this fire was started deliberately and it is fortunate that nobody was hurt and that this did not become a much more serious incident.
"Anyone with information can report online or call 101, quoting 1157 of 11/08."
