various tools, 1 Quad bike, 2 Chickens, 3 Ewes and 1 Tractor.
Value of goods and damage £73,555.00.
Please be aware that it is the time of year when travellers move about and look for new sites to place their caravans, if you see travellers breaking into sites please call 999 and quote the exact area they are at.

Please, if you see any such vehicle contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 with as much information as possible. This includes date and time, where and a good description of the vehicle including the reg no and of any people. Please do not put yourself in any danger but if possible take a photograph.

Monday 8th June 2020 to Sunday 14th June 2020
There has been reports recently of a blue Transit van with three occupants scouring agricultural premises in the Lancing area. The vehicle is on a 06 plate.
On another farm in the Lancing area 2 males with Lurcher dogs and a gun have been seen by several people.
3 Larsen traps and 2 Fox snares have been damaged. 2 Fox snares and 2 Anchors have been stolen from premises in Burpham Arundel. Exact values are not known.
Brighton & Hove
A land owner in Emsworth observed a person riding a motorcycle around one of his fields, he went over to have words and the rider who then rode straight at him accelerating, he had to jump out of the way. The bike is described as a Motocross style painted Aqua Marine. The rider is described as male, in his early 20’s with ginger hair and beard.
HERITAGE An unsuccessful attempt was made to break into St Barnabas Church in Hoads Wood Road Ore, Hastings. The intruder has bent back the metal grill and smashed 3 windows. Damage estimated at £200.00.
The Kingdom Faith Church in Roffey Place Old Crawley Road Horsham has been broken into in 3 separate parts of the building. At this time it is not known if anything has been stolen.
HERITAGE damage has been caused to the Grade 1 Listed bridge at Stopham Pulborough. A number of the coping stones have been removed. It is believed they may have been pushed off and into the river. Did you see or hear anything, if so please call Sussex Police on the non-emergency number 101.
A farm in Glynn Road Peacehaven was entered overnight and an unsuccessful attempt was made to break through the roller shutter doors, this activated the alarm and alerted the owner to attend. CCTV is being investigated by police, enquiries are ongoing.
A farm in Ditchling Road Wivelsfield, Haywards Heath was forcefully entered and 11 shipping containers have been broken into. Around £40,000.00 of goods were stolen.
A farm in Stairbridge Lane Bolney Haywards Heath was entered and electrical components were found near a container. CCTV has very clear images of 3 males walking
An unsuccessful attempt was made to steal a digger from farm premises in Bullfinch Lane Hassocks.
An unsuccessful attempt was made to steal an excavator from a farm in Isaacs Lane Haywards Heath. The machine has now been moved off to premises in a different location.
A green Yamaha Quadbike, valued at £3,000.00 has been stolen from a farm in Bodium. CCTV recorded the incident. Enquiries are ongoing.
An unsuccessful attempt was made to enter an outbuilding to a farm in Stoddard’s Lane Beckley, Rye.

Overnight 2 chickens were stolen from premises in Peter James Lane Fairlight.
Reports came in of gun shots being heard in Rushlake Green, it would seem that somebody was attempting to shoot a Buzzard, fortunately it seems that they failed.
A large black and white Staffy X type of dog was caught attacking sheep on a farm in Birch Grove Horsted Keynes. The farmer is keeping the dog locked up until the dog warden collects it. Enquiries are ongoing to discover its owner.
3 Southdown Ewes have been stolen from a farm in Steep Road Crowborough. Valued at £300.00.
ESF&R attended a lorry fire on a farm in Horsted Lane Uckfield with 2 appliances.
A red Massey Fergusson tractor, model not given, valued at around £30,000.00 has been stolen from a farm in Hartfield.
