News and appeals

Our officers made 41 arrests over the bank holiday weekend across Arun and Chichester and a total of 58 arrests last week.
Offences include: grievous bodily harm, theft of a motor vehicle, actual bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon, domestic assault, wanted on warrant, stalking, arson, driving under the influence of drugs, harassment, possession of class A drug, robbery, possession of a knife, affray, driving whilst disqualified and assault on Police.

Crime summary

Ellasdale Road, Marine  - Between Sunday 5 April 2150hrs and Monday 6 April 0740hrs a car window was smashed, nothing was stolen. Serial 0292 6/4

Felpham Way, Felpham -  Overnight on Wednesday 8 April damage was caused to a car wing mirror and door. Serial 0343 9/4.

Malborough Court, Aldwick -  Overnight on Wednesday 8 April there was a break to a vehicle. A sat nav and sunglasses were stolen. Serial 0488 9/4.

Westminster Drive, Aldwick West – Between Wednesday 8 April 1400hrs and Thursday 9 April 1240hrs there was a break to a vehicle. Sat nav stolen. Serial 0778 9/4.

New Barn Lane, North Bersted – On Sunday 12 April around 0230hrs there was a break to a van and tools were stolen. Serial 0846 12/4.

Wilman Gardens, Aldwick – On Sunday 12 April between 0100hrs and 0600hrs there was a break to a van and tools were stolen. Serial 1022 12/4.

Upper Bognor Road, Hotham – On Wednesday 8 April between 1400hrs and Thursday 9 April 0830hrs a wing mirror was ripped off a car causing damage. Serial 0425 9/4.

Mead Lane, Hotham – Between Wednesday 8 April 2300hrs and Thursday 9 April 0900hrs a car had both wing mirrors damaged and taken off. Serial 0930 9/4.

North Way, Felpham - Overnight on Wednesday 8 April damage was caused to a wing mirror on a car. Serial 1393 9/4.

Felpham Road, Felpham - Overnight on Wednesday 8 April both wing mirrors on a car were damaged. Serial 1583 9/4.

Felpham Way, Felpham - Overnight on Wednesday 8 April a car wing mirror was damaged which also caused damage to the car door. Serial 1230 10/4.

Littlehampton and surrounding areas

Cornwall Road, River - Overnight on Tuesday 7 April a car tyre was slashed. Serial 0430 9/4.

Georgian Gardens, Rustington - Overnight on Thursday 9 April a car windscreen was smashed. Serial 1084 10/4.

Tideway, Beach - On Saturday 11 April between 1100hrs and 1315hrs tyres were slashed on a car. Serial 1281 11/4.

Epsom Gardens, Rustington - On Thursday 9 April around 2230hrs damage was caused to a lock on a motorcycle. Serial 1911 9/4.

Elspring Mead, Wick - Overnight on Friday 10 April a shed was broken into, damage was caused but nothing stolen. Serial 0187 11/4.

Wick Farm Road, Wick - Between 2200hrs on Tuesday 7 April and 0730hrs on Wednesday 8 April there was a break to a shed and a red Cube pedal cycle was stolen. Serial 0294 8/4.
