Reported loose animals on the highway this week is 3.
This is made up by 2 Horses and 1 Sheep
With the ground being so wet and the shortage of grazing it is vital that you check your boundary hedges and fences several times each day as fences are much easier to push over.

Crime and incident update
 Reported items stolen/damaged in the last week include
2 x Stonemasons cutter/grinders, 1 x Drill, 1 x Radio, 5 Quadbikes,
4 x Hedge cutters,3 x Strimmer’s, 7 Chainsaws, 4 Leaf blowers,
2 x Sit-on Tractor/mowers,1 x JCB Telehandler,
Quantity of old tractor batters, 2 x Trailers,
1 x Electric fence energisers, 2 x Electric fence batteries and
1 x Portaloo.
Value of stolen goods including damage £73,770.00

If you own a Quadbike please, please chain it down and secure it in as many ways as you can, you will see that we have had 5 stolen this week alone. Quadbike theft has been rising week by week recently, so not only secure it, make a note of their serial numbers, chassis numbers etc.

An unsuccessful attempt was made to steal diesel from a farm in Aldingbourne Chichester, clear images of the intruder were captured on CCTV. The suspect was recognised and police are dealing.

An outbuilding to a farmhouse in Chithurst Petersfield has been broken into and a number of items were stolen, including 1 x 9” Makita stonemason’s flat cutter/angle grinder, 1 x 4.5” Makita stonemason’s flat cutter/angle grinder, 1 x Hilti drill and a Makita radio. Estimated value £1,500.00.

A red Honda Foreman 500 Quadbike has been stolen from premises in Petworth, estimated value £3,000.00.

Premises in Graffham Petworth have been broken into and a large value of tools etc. have been stolen, these include 1 x Styhl combi kit (Strimmer/Hedge cutter combined) 2 x Styhl Hedge cutters, 2 x Chainsaws, 2 x Styhl Leaf blowers, 1 x Husqvana chainsaw and 1 x Honda Quadbike. Estimated value up to £10,000.00.

An outbuilding to a farm in Loxwood Billingshurst has been broken into and a Husqvana garden Tractor values at £6,000.00 has been stolen.

A 9 metre JCB Telehandler that was hired has gone missing (believed stolen) from premises in Storrington Road Pulborough. ASSET ID TH143 - REG RV64FKY - SRL 2340200-TJ14WDU - JCB ITEM NUMBER 535-95.
Estimated value £20,000.00.

A white Transit van was seen leaving a farm in Henfield Road Partridge Green Horsham, it was soon realised that old tractor batteries to the value of £100.00 were missing.

An outbuilding to a farm in High Bar Lane Thakeham Pulborough has been entered and various pieces of tools / equipment have been stolen, these include an Atco GT38H sit-on tractor mower S/no 00085742, 2 x Styhl MSTBG86C-E Leaf blowers, 1 x petrol Chainsaw and 1 x Titan TTK587GDO Strimmer Valued at £2,750.00.

Premises in Norland Lane Ringmer Lewes have been entered and a caravan and 2 cars have been severely damaged, did you see or hear anything. Estimated damage

Mid Sussex
A single axled aluminium trailer with a front ladder rack, make unknown, was stolen from a property in Mawes Road East Grinstead. Also stolen by breaking into an outbuilding was an Echo Strimmer, a Stihl battery Hedge trimmer, an old Echo Chainsaw and a Husqvarna petrol chainsaw. Total value £1,950.00. £3,000.00.

Farm premises in Bodiam Robertsbridge were entered overnight and a holiday home was broken into, damage was also caused to The East Sussex Railway. Total damage £4,000.00.

A Gallagher Electric fence energiser and 2 blue 12 volt leisure batteries have been stolen from a farm in Udimore Rye. Valued at £520.00.

A red Honda 350 Four-track Quadbike has been stolen from the barn of a farm in Brede Hill Brede Rye. Estimated value £3,000.00.

A red Honda Foreman 350 Quadbike, I.D. No 1HFTE35U794202258, has been stolen from a farm in Broad Street Icklesham Winchelsea. Valued at £3,000.00.

A Portaloo has been stolen from a site in London Road Flimwell Wadhurst. Estimated value £750.00.

Farm premises in Forest Row has been entered and a 3.5 Tonne Ifor Williams LM105GHD trailer  serial number SCK60000065025527, chassis code 6+40709 and valued at £1,400.00 was stolen.

A Quadbike and a Chainsaw have been stolen from a farm in Fletching Uckfield. At this time we do not have details of makes or models of these items. Valued at £8,750.00.
