There are a number of Flood Warnings and Flood Alerts across Sussex. Please review these and look for more information at the Flood Warning site. If the link in this message does not work for you then please search online for Flood warnings for England.

The Environment Agency has just issued an Amber Flood Warning for the River Arun at Horsham from Amiesmill Bridge to Hills Farm Lane, including Millbay Lane, Tanbridge Park, Arunside, and Ridgehurst Drive.

Flooding can cause disruption to travel; damage to property; and present some health hazards. You can keep yourself and your family safe by doing some simple actions:
  • Keep up to date with the latest information including by listening to local radio
  • Move important items to a higher level if possible
  • Prepare an emergency grab bag containing bottled water, warm clothes, medicines and other essential items.
