News and appeals

A number of arrests were made during this week.   Offences include vehicle interference, excess alcohol, drug driving, theft of motor, driving with no insurance, fail to stop, criminal damage, murder, wanted on warrant, domestic assault, shoplifting, burglary dwelling, affray, grievous bodily harm, cannabis cultivation, arson, actual bodily harm, stalking, harassment, possession of a Class B drug, breach of restraining order, dangerous driving, possession of an offensive weapon, drunk and disorderly, death by dangerous driving, racially aggravated public order and threats to kill.

Crime summary

Ockley Road, Marine – Overnight on Monday 23 September there was an attempt break to a business; no entry was gained but damage was caused to the windows and doors.  Serial 0251 of 24/09.
Hawthorn Road, Bognor – On Wednesday 25 September there was an attempt break to the Cricket Club; no entry was gained but damage was caused to the door.  Serial 1445 of 25/09.
Merrion Avenue, Orchard – Overnight on Sunday 22 September a vehicle was entered and loose change was stolen.  Serial 0367 of 23/09. 
Orchard Way, Orchard – Overnight on Saturday 21 September a vehicle was entered and money was stolen.  Serial 0613 of 23/09.

Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround
Courtwick Road, Wick - Overnight on Sunday 22 September a property was entered and a handbag stolen.  Serial 0272 of 23/09.  
North Street, Wick – Overnight on Sunday 22 September a property was entered via an insecure window and an iPhone 8 was stolen. Serial 0387 of 23/09.   
Grooms Close, Angmering – Between Friday 20 September and Monday 23 September there was an attempt break to a property; no entry was gained but damage was caused to the rear patio door.  Serial 1039 of 23/09.
Henry Lock Way, Wick – Overnight on Tuesday 24 September a property was broken into electrical items and jewellery was stolen.  Serial 0302 of 25/09.
Fontwell Avenue, Eastergate – On Tuesday 24 September there were two breaks to building plots and a boiler and tools stolen from within.  Serial 0429 of 25/09.


Dairy Lane, Walberton – Overnight on Sunday 22 September two quad bikes were stolen from a driveway.  Description:- Yamaha Raptor (colour-orange) and Yamaha Banshee (colour blue and white).    Serial 0215 of 23/09.

Appletree Lane, Barnham – Overnight on Thursday 26 September a vehicle was broken into; untidy however nothing reported stolen.  Serial 0258 of 27/09.  
Arundel Road, Fontwell – Overnight on Saturday 28 September, windows were smashed to a vehicle and bluetooth headphones were stolen.  Serial 0412 of 29/09.
Hollist Chase, Wick – Overnight on Sunday 22 September a vehicle was broken into and damage was caused to the ignition area.   Serial 0303 of 23/09.   

Connaught Road, River – On Tuesday 24 September, during late evening a motorcycle was stolen from the front of a property.   The bike was later recovered the following day in Blakehurst Way; it had been badly damaged.    Serial 1602 of 24/09.
Anti-Social Behaviour
Rustington Youth Centre, Woodlans Avenue, Rustington – On Thursday 26 September during the early, evening there was a report of two youths running on the roof.  Serial 1387.
