Reference: 1637 31st July
Location: Cootes Avenue, Horsham
Date and time: Between 1745hrs and 2140hrs 31st July
Details: A rear door was forced open and jewellery was stolen

Reference: 0029 4th August
Location: Jockey Mead, Horsham
Date and time: Between 2030hrs 3rd August and 0010hrs 4th August
Details: someone entered a property via an insecure window. Nothing was stolen.  

Reference: 0910 6th August
Location: Alden Court, Horsham
Date and time: Between midnight 1st August and 1700hrs 6th August
Details: A flat was broken into, nothing was stolen.
Burglary other than Dwelling
Reference: 0315 5th August
Location: The Village, Ashurst
Date and time: time and date unknown
Details: Garden tools were stolen from an insecure barn.

News and Appeals
Police appeal for witnesses to collision near Henfield
Police are appealing for witnesses following a two vehicle collision that occurred about 11:18am on Saturday 27 July on the A281 at Crouch Hill, just north of Henfield.

A blue Suzuki Jimny travelling north was in collision with a silver Vauxhall Agila which was travelling south.

Sadly, a passenger in the Vauxhall, an 82-year-old local man, died from his injuries in hospital on 30 July.

No other serious injuries were reported.

Anyone who saw what happened, or who has dash cam footage of the incident, is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting Operation Denford.
