Click here to find out about Op Signature which is a Force campaign to identify and support victims of fraud within Sussex.  Increasingly fraud is becoming more complex and deceptive, much of which is targeted at vulnerable and older people.  The following link will give you more information and contains video links aimed at the most vulnerable.

Please view and show to someone whom may be vulnerable and not have access, or be able to use a computer.

Key things to remember:

  •  Never send or give money to anyone you don’t know or trust
  • Check people are who they say they are
  • Don’t share your personal information
  • Make decisions in your own time
  • If in doubt phone a relative or a friend

Trading standards advice is never to have any work done by anyone whom cold calls, please use a recommendation from friends or neighbours, or contact Citizens Advice on 03454 040506.  Click here to find out more about Doorstep Crime.
