News and appeals


Numerous arrests were made over the week in Arun and Chichester. The offences included:- breach of the peace, theft, offensive weapon, grievous bodily harm, harassment, drink driving, criminal damage, common assault, possession of Class A, affray and wanted on warrant.

Teenager charged with drug offences in Midhurst


Police have arrested and charged a man with drug offences after he was searched in Midhurst.  Please see the below link with further information..

Chichester (WC1)


St Agnes Place, Chichester – Overnight on Monday 2 April a property was broken into via a smashed window and electrical items, cash and tools stolen.  Serial 0631 02/04


Terminus Road, Chichester – Overnight on Monday 2 April a business was broken into and a digger and dumper stolen.  Serial 0232 02/04


Bognor Road, Chichester – overnight on Monday 2 April a vehicle was broken into and drills stolen.  Serial 0639 02/04


Littlegreen School, Compton, Chichester – On Tuesday 3 April a shed was broken into at the school and items including a quad bike and angle grinder stolen.  Serial 0419 03/04


Williams Road, Bosham, Chichester on Wednesday 4 April a residential workshop was broken into and various tools stolen.  Serial 0454 04/04


Terminus Road, Chichester – On Thursday 5 April, a business was broken into and tools stolen.  Serial 0151 05/04


Florence Road, Chichester – Between 21/3 and 6/4 a vehicle was broken into via a forced door.  Items stolen include a bag that has now been recovered.  Serial 0473 06/04


Truro Close, Chichester – On Friday 6 April a property was entered via an insecure garage door and personal possessions stolen from an antique desk.  Serial 0875 06/04.


St James Square, Chichester – On Friday 6 April, a van was broken into and tools stolen.  Serial 1386 06/04





Selsey, The Witterings and surrounding area (WC2)


Selsey Road, Donnington – on Tuesday 3 April heating oil was stolen from outside a property.  Serial 1167 03/04


Selsey Road, Donnington – on Thursday 5 April high value garden planters were taken from the rear garden of a property.  Serial 0771 05/04


Graydon Avenue, Chichester – On Saturday 7 April a vehicle was broken into and tools have been taken.  Serial 0308 07/04


The Street, Itchenor – On Saturday 7 April an outboard motors were stolen from a storage area.  0945 07/04



Midhurst, Petworth and surrounding area (WC3)


Hampers Green, Petworth – On Thursday 5 April a vehicle was broken into and personal possessions taken.  Serial 0360 05/04


Bury, Pulborough – On Thursday 5 April a commercial premises was broken into and cigarettes and postage stamps stolen.  Serial 0638 05/04


Tillington, Petworth – On Thursday 5 April a vehicle was broken into with a wallet and cash taken.  Serial 0857 05/04
