Numerous arrests were made over the week in Arun and Chichester. The offences included:- drunk and disorderly, excess alcohol, theft of motor vehicle, going equipped, possession of Class B drug, drink driving, criminal damage, shoplifting and breach of bail.

Crime summary
 

Bognor Regis


One moped and two motorcyles were recovered on Sunday 11 March after they were spotting riding around the Angmering and Rustington area illegally.  Two males were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and possession of drugs.  They have since been released under investigation whilst police continue their enquiries.  

 

Highcroft Crescent, Hotham – During the afternoon of Tuesday 6 March, a property was entered and jewellery and a purse stolen.  Serial 1254 of 06/03.

 

West Way, Wick – Overnight on Thursday 8 March, the window to a vehicle was smashed and tools stolen.  Serial 0164 of 08/03.

 

Orchard Way, Orchard – A vehicle was broken into and a satnav Garmin stolen.   Serial 0161 of 09/03.
 

Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround

 

North Lane, Rustington – Overnight on Sunday 4 March there was an attempt break to a property where damage had been caused to one of the windows; no entry was gained.  Serial 0183 of 05/03.

 

Sea Avenue, Rustington – On Saturday 3 March a beach hut was broken into and two kayaks and oars stolen.  Serial 0245 of 06/3.

 

Esther Drive, Littlehampton – On Friday 9 March there was a report of a workshop being entered and the contents of a freezer stolen.   Serial 0459 of 09/03.

 

 Arundel Road, Castle Goring – Over a week period a shed was broken into and a black/yellow Stomp Pit bike was stolen.    Serial 0956 of 11/03.    

 

Brookside Avenue, Rustington – A van was entered via unknown means and tools stolen.  Serial 0221 of 09/03.  Serial 0221 of 09/03.
