Numerous arrests were made over the weekend in Arun and Chichester. The offences included:- wanted on warrant, disqualified driving, excess alcohol, drug driving, domestic assault, possession of class A drug, actual bodily harm, possession of class B drug and drunk and disorderly.

Crime summary

Chichester (WC1)


Saltern Reach, Prinsted – Overnight on Monday 12 February a vehicle was entered and a Berghaus black waterproof jacket and Wayfarer sunglasses stolen.  Serial 0641 of 14/02.  


Oliver Whitby Road, Chichester – Overnight on Thursday 15 February, a vehicle was broken into and money stolen.  Serial 0138 of 16/02.


Downs Road, West Stoke – On Saturday 17 February a vehicle was broken into and a blue Mulberry Handbag and blue Mulberry purse containing bank cards stolen.   Serial 0490 of 17/02.  


Lavant Road, Chichester – On Tuesday 13 February there was a report of a cabin being broken into and batteries stolen.  Serial 0677 of 13/02.


Russell Street, Chichester – On Saturday 17 February a Rigeback Rapido racing bike was stolen from an insecure shed.    Serial 1084 of 18/02.



Selsey, The Witterings and surrounding area (WC2)


Drift Road, Selsey – Overnight on Monday 12 February, an office and store area was broken into and tools stolen.  Serial 0213 of 13/02.


Midhurst, Petworth and surrounding area (WC3)


There were no incidents of note for this bulletin.
