Farm Watch Coordinator's Update

The number of animals reported as loose on highway this week has jumped drastically to 38. This was made up of 16 cows, 12 horses, 8 sheep and 2 pigs. Please continue to check roadside hedges and fences on a daily basis, including boundaries where a railway line passes by.

As we see regularly, a large majority of the thefts that have taken place this week have been from outbuildings. Please ensure that you’re taking every opportunity to safeguard your property where possible with heavy duty locks, security lights and with CCTV which is time and date stamped.

Kindest regards

Phillip
