FRIENDS OF TARRING PARK - RELAUNCH
LOVE your Park ? Or want to see it improved ?
Want to see our Park the best in Town ?
“Join the Friends of Tarring Park and make your mark”.

Why do we need Friends of Tarring Park ?

Councils take notice of large groups of informed residents. Together we
can get positive changes - the flooding in the children’s park is now the Borough Councils’ top priority for Tarring and is being addressed because of our collective lobbying.

This month Cllr Hazel Thorpe met with several residents who all signed up ! THANK YOU to them. JOIN THEM and make a positive difference.

If you have views and are interested in helping out - please text, phone or Email
Hazel at hazel.thorpe@worthing.gov.uk or 07999444753.
Or contact the NHW  at: worthingnhw@gmail.com
http://worthingnhw.ourwatch.org.uk/

We need a small group to help organise the way forward. It won’t be onerous and could be fun! Coffee, cake and conversation what’s not to love?

Thank you to everyone who has responded so far. Here are just some of their ideas:

Hot drinks mobile concession – very popular
Shade canopy for hot days - very necessary
Outside Gym equipment – very popular
Outside table tennis Table – Love it
Chat Benches – Much needed
Marked out course for walkering deck – popular
Raised beds with attractive flowers etc – great
Swings for babies & mums to use – excellent idea
Equipment for children with disabilities to use essential
Ground trampoline - Thanks for picture
Better signage yes !
Staging for older children AND MORE / events
Volunteer to monitor the park ……
Better police presence …… important
Attractive Recycling bins …. If only

Do you agree or what do you suggest? We are open to ideas.

NB Love gardening and your home – join Tarring Flood Action Group or Adopt a Drain
