Recently we have seen an increase in reports of burglaries to sheds, garages and outbuildings across Arun.

Some of the properties targeted had been left unlocked. It can take seconds for a thief to steal your belongings so we would like to remind everyone to ensure that you leave your property secure when unattended or not in use.
Valuables stolen include bikes, sports and fishing equipment and power tools.

* Keep it locked.
* Install security lights
* Install an alarm
* Install CCTV.
* If you already have CCTV, ensure it is in good working order.

Please be assured that our teams are continuing with patrols and following up all enquiries.
We would ask you to report any suspicious behaviour to us straight away. If you can assist us with any information then please contact us on 101 or online.
