News and appeals
Numerous arrests were made over the weekend by our Arun and Chichester Officers. Offences include:- drink driving, arson, obstruction, assault police, stalking, domestic assault, drunk and disorderly, possession of an offensive weapon, actual bodily harm, affray, criminal damage, public order, wanted on warrant, breach of bail, possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, robbery, driving whilst disqualified, and fail to stop.
Stein Road, Emsworth – Overnight on Sunday 25 August a garage was broken into and an expensive racing bike, set of motorised hedge trimmers and electrical tools stolen. Serial 0296 of 24/08.
North Road, Bosham - Between Saturday 22 August and Wednesday 26 August a shed was broken into and a bottle of alcohol stolen. Serial 0524 of 26/08. Overnight on Tuesday 25 August another shed in North Road was also broken into and a large quantify of tools stolen. Serial 0532 of 26/08.
Chapel Street, Chichester – Overnight on Sunday 23 August a vehicle was entered and a Nextbase 322GW dash camera was stolen. Serial 0571 of 24/08.
Doric Close, Emsworth – Overnight on Sunday 23 August there was a report of two vehicles having been entered and a mobile phone being stolen from one of them. Serial 0635 of 24/08.
Rockall Way, Bosham – Overnight on Tuesday 25 August the lock to a vehicle’s door was forced. Items stolen include:- cash, white/silver iPhone 5S, iPhone 6S, blue cash tin, card reader device and a men’s Ellesse jacket. Serial 0330 of 26/08.
Chequer Lane, Bosham – Overnight on Thursday 27 August a 1.3 Suzuki carry silver van was stolen. Serial 0188 of 28/08.
Selsey, The Witterings and surrounding area (WC2)
There were no incidents of note.
Midhurst, Petworth and surrounding area (WC3)
Hampers Green, Petworth – Overnight on Sunday 23 August a ford transit van was stolen from outside a property’s address. Serial 0222 of 24/08.
