News and appeals

Numerous arrests were made over the weekend by our Arun and Chichester Officers.  Offences include:- drink driving, arson, obstruction, assault police, stalking, domestic assault, drunk and disorderly, possession of an offensive weapon, actual bodily harm, affray, criminal damage, public order, wanted on warrant, breach of bail, possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, robbery, driving whilst disqualified, and fail to stop. 
 
Blue lights leaders condemn assaults on staff
Leaders of police, fire and rescue and ambulance services in Sussex have come together to highlight assaults on their staff.

Crime summary

Bognor


Normanton Avenue, Bognor – Overnight on Monday 24 August a vehicle was entered and an Indi S10 adult electric scooter was stolen.   Serial 0189 of 25/08.

Hampshire Avenue, Orchard – On Tuesday 25 August there was a report of a vehicle having been entered and two coats, loose change and chargers stolen.  Serial 0270 of 25/08.

Elm Grove, Marine – Overnight on Monday 24 August a vehicle was entered and two bags of shopping were stolen.  Serial 0552 of 25/08.
Station Road, Marine – On Tuesday 25 August there was a report of a window having been smashed to a shop.   Serial 1323 of 25/08.

Durlston Drive, Bersted – Overnight on Tuesday 25 August two vehicles were keyed outside a property.  Serial  0361 of 27/08. 
Pinewood Gardens, Bognor – Overnight on Friday 28 August a vehicle was entered and a moneybox containing £40 stolen, two Flourean walkie talkies and an ‘Under Armour’ black baseball cap stolen.  Serial 0806 of 29/08.          

Littlehampton and Surrounding Areas


Hook Lane, Aldingbourne – Overnight on 13 August the window was forced to a site office.  Items stolen include:-  2 x Google Nest Smart Video Doorbells, 2 x Google Nest Smart Thermostats, 4 x Google Nest Smoke and Carbon Monoxide alarms, 2 x Google Nest Mini Voice Assistants, a rechargable LED work light, Tardis WiFi router and a pack of HP ink cartridges. Serial 0948 of 27/08.
