Speeding Vehicles reported to Sussex Police

During the early hours  the morning of Thursday 13th August residents living in Aldwick Parish were disturbed by two white vans being driven at speed and making substantial noise going over speed bumps on a road outside their houses.The times of the occurrence and each van`s registration details were recorded and the residents advised their Neighbourhood Watch Area Coordinator. The NHW Coordinator then made a written report to Sussex Policeon the morning of Friday 14th August.

On Monday 17th August the NHW Coordinator received a written communication from Sussex Police advising that both vans had been stolen and one of the vans had been stopped and two persons arrested.

The event timeline demonstrates that if we become aware of something unusual or suspicious involving people or vehicles take notes and if possible photographs and make a written report to Sussex Police. The police will based upon the evidence provided will take appropriate action and also provide written feedback.
