News and appeals

Over 70 arrests were made during the week.  Offences include: malicious communications, breach of bail, criminal damage, wanted on warrant, drug driving, drunk and disorderly, threats to kill, burglary, possession of a knife and actual bodily harm.

Crime summary

Chichester (WC1)
 
Claver Gardens, Chichester – On the evening of Monday 20 July a garage was burgled and a pink Giant mountain bike was stolen. Serial 0700 21/07.
 
Fishbourne Road West, Chichester – In the early hours of Thursday 23 July a shed was burgled and a black Allez bike was stolen. Serial 0052 23/07.
 
Stephens Close, Chichester – In the early hours of Friday 24 July there was an attempted burglary at a residence. Serial 0687 24/07.
 
Covington Road, Emsworth – On the afternoon of Sunday 26 July a maroon Fiat Panda was stolen. Serial 0974 26/07.
 
 
 
Selsey, The Witterings and surrounding area (WC2)
 
Westlands Estate, Birdham – Overnight between Sunday 19 and Monday 20 July a house was burgled and cash and credit cards were stolen. Serial 0198 20/07.
 
Greenacres, Birdham – Overnight between Sunday 19 and Monday 20 July a garage was burgled yet nothing was stolen. Serial 1020 20/07.
 
Mill Lane, Selsey – On Tuesday 21 July we received a report that a caravan had been burgled. Serial 0453 21/07.
 
Mill Lane, Selsey – In the early hours of Saturday 25 July there was an attempted burglary of a caravan. Serial 0009 26/07.
 
 
 
Midhurst, Petworth and surrounding area (WC3)
 
Vann Road, Fernhurst – In the early hours of Sunday 19 July there was an attempted burglary at a residence. Serial 0587 24/07.
 
Nicholsfield, Loxwood – In the early hours of Thursday 23 July a shed was burgled and numerous items were stolen including an X-Box and games. Serial 0437 23/07.
 
Greenfields Close, Nyewood – Overnight between Thursday 23 and Friday 24 July a shed was burgled and an attempt was made to burgle another outbuilding. Nothing was stolen. Serial 0644 24/07.
 
Iping Lane, Iping – Between Saturday 18 and Saturday 25 July a house was burgled and numerous items were stolen including hand tools, power tools and two antique chairs. Serial 0675 25/07.
