News and appeals

There were 30 arrests over the weekend.  Offences include:- possession of an offensive weapon, domestic assault, assault police, public order, assault police, actual bodily harm, grievous bodily harm, drug driving, attempted burglary, excess alcohol, robbery, possession of a firearm and affray.  

83 arrests made during two-week crackdown on drink and drug-drivers
The operation was run in addition to routine roads policing 365 days a year.

Crime summary


Wedgwood Road, Felpham – Overnight on Tuesday 7 July a vehicle was entered and a wallet, Pro Action camera and Smart Watch stolen.   Serial 0599 of 08/07.

Grassmere Close, Bognor – Felpham – Overnight on Tuesday 7 July a vehicle’s car bonnet had been opened; nothing was reported stolen.  Serial 0430 of 09/07.

Limmer Lane, Felpham – Overnight on Wednesday 8 July a vehicle was entered, untidy search but nothing reported stolen.  Serial 0729 of 09/07.  

Havelock Road, Orchard – Between Monday 6 July and Wednesday 8 July a vehicle was entered; an Apple iPod, Tom Tom sat nav, Alexa Echo auto and loose change was stolen.  Serial 0922 of 09/07.  

Grassmere Close, Felpham – Overnight on Wednesday 8 July a vehicle was entered and a spare car key stolen.   Serial 0956 of 09/07.

Murina Avenue, Orchard – Overnight on Thursday 9 July a Lex Motor scooter (red and black) was stolen.   Serial 0267 of 10/07.  
Avisford Park, Nyetimber Lane, Pagham – Overnight on Monday 6 July there was a deliberate ignition to a bin.   Serial 1020 of 09/07.

Drift Road, Pagham – On Sunday 12 July there was a report of damage to a post box where the stand had been broken.  Serial
Littlehampton and Surrounding Areas

Belloc Road, Wick – Between Sunday 5 and Thursday 9 July an insecure shed was entered and motor lawn mower stolen.    Serial 0272 of 09/07.  

Nyton Road, Westergate – Overnight on Wednesday 8 July a building site was broken into; containers were forced open and power tools stolen. Serial 0314 of 10/07.

Sea Road, East Preston – Overnight on Friday 10th July a garage door was forced open and various small tools stolen.    Serial 1491 of 11/07.  

Wick Street, Wick – On Monday 6 July, during the early hours of the morning, West Sussex Fire and Rescue attended to a deliberate ignition to a Fiat Punto vehicle.    Serial 0091 of 06/07.
