1 Statute and 1 Trials Bike.
Value of goods and damage £27,286.00.
Please be aware that it is the time of year when travellers move about and look for new sites to place their caravans, if you see travellers breaking into sites please call 999 and quote the exact area they are at.

Your help required please
Sussex Police rely heavily on people like you to advise them of any suspect vehicle hanging around of entering you property. Please, if you see any such vehicle contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 with as much information as possible. This includes date and time, where and a good description of the vehicle including the reg no and of any people. Please do not put yourself in any danger but if possible take a photograph.

Monday 1st June 2020 to Sunday 7th June 2020
HERITAGE The Grade 2 listed parish church of St Georges in East Worthing which was opened in 1868 has been the victim of crime. Person or persons unknown have thrown a brick through one of its windows. This is going to cost several hundreds of pounds to repair. Did you see or hear anything, if so please call Sussex Police on the non-emergency number 101 and quote the crime number.
An outbuilding on farmland off Mill Hill Shoreham by Sea has been broken into and 5 saddles, and 5 bridles have been stolen. Haul valued at £4,250.00.
On 5th June a horse at a yard in Lancing was found with a minor injury to its neck and head collar missing, believed stolen. On 6th June at the same location there was a second instance, this time the head collar was found damaged nearby. Replacement cost £16.00.
Brighton & Hove
A Forestry educational centre in Church Lane Hunston Chichester has been vandalised, witnesses report seeing a gang of 4 youths in the area at the time and have given police a good description of them.
Several people called in to report seeing 3 people with at least 2 dogs, possibly Lurchers, it is believed that they were Hare coursing. A white van with ladders on the top was seem parked up closely.
Recent criminal damage was found to sheds at Depot Road allotments,
An electric fence battery, worth £120.00, has been stolen from a field in Crawley Road Faygate.
Between 18th and 19th May a shed in woods near Southwater was broken into. Criminal damage was caused including graffiti, and paint thrown around, some hand tools were stolen.
There has been another incidence of Criminal Damage at a nurseries in Pulborough, with polythene tunnels damaged and other evidence of trespassers. Repairs are estimated at around £3,000.00.
Between the morning of 5th June and the morning of 7th June a container on rural land North of Pulborough was broken into. Stihl and Husqvarna chainsaws were stolen, together with climbing equipment. Estimated value of haul is around £3,500.00.
HERITAGE A statue of Mary and Jesus valued at £10,000.00 has been stolen from the grounds of St Marys Church, Church Hill, Ringmer, Lewes. Did you see or hear anything, if so please call Sussex police on the non-emergency number 101.
A barn in the Lewes area has been entered and a red and white Honda CRF100 F9 Trial Bike was stolen along with a Stihl Leaf blower. Value of haul £1,400.00.
A farm in the West Hoathly area of East Grinstead was broken into and about 15 containers were forcefully entered. So far nothing has been reported as missing.
A red C F Moto 500- ES Quadzilla Quadbike, valued at £1,000.00 has been stolen from a farm in Furnace Lane Beckley, Rye.
Three youths who entered a farm in the Battle area and smashed the CCTV cameras and windows were detained by staff until police arrived.
A farm in Church Lane Salehurst, Robertsbridge, was broken into and a green Grizzly Quadbike was stolen. Valued at £1,000.00.
An attempt was made to steal a caravan that is sited on a farm in the Winchelsea area. They were disturbed and left empty handed.
When the occupants of a remote farm in the Wadhurst area arrived home they encountered 7 youths who had forcefully entered the property. Although they had made a very untidy search of the premises nothing appears to be missing.
