Sussex Country Watch Newsletter
You will see below that a caravan was stolen from premises in Brightling. Caravan thefts are sadly now quite common. Just across the county border in Kent I am aware of 3 being stolen in the last few days. If you are a caravan owner, no matter wherever you store it please take all necessary precautions to ensure its safety, we would also advise having a tracker fitted to it.
Quad bikes and all-terrain vehicles are still being stolen every week, this week you will see below that 6 have been stolen. Please consider fitting a tracker to them
Over recent months several woodchippers have been stolen in Sussex, several have also gone missing in Kent. Again may we suggest that due to the cost if them it is well worth having them fitted with trackers.
If you have any evidence, no matter how small, on any of the crimes listed below, please call it in on the non-emergency number 101 and quote the reference number and date as given to the left of the report, of for that matter any other crime.
