A number of arrests were made during this week. Offences include:- domestic assault, criminal damage, breach of the peace, shoplifting, wanted on warrant, shoplifting, common assault, breach of non-molestation order, assault police, affray, drink driving, burglary other than dwelling, attempted burglary dwelling, theft from a motor vehicle, actual bodily harm, driving with no insurance or MOT and drug driving.  

Police searching for missing teenager Eriglen Morina
Police are searching for teenager Eriglen Morina, who is missing from Bognor Regis. The 16-year-old was last seen in the town around 2:40pm on Wednesday 27 November, when he absconded from his place of residence.
Anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts, is asked to report it online or call 101 quoting serial 1039 of 27/11.

Volunteers join Sussex Police to support victims of fraud

A Sussex Police scheme that will see volunteers help support fraud victims across the county was launched on Friday (December 6) by Police and Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne.
Now some 23 volunteers will be officially joining Sussex Police and they’ll work with officers to contact local individuals and businesses who have recently reported scams to Action Fraud.

Police urge continued vigilance over Christmas period

Counter Terrorism Policing has launched a campaign to help keep crowded places secure over the festive period.
Officers are calling on the public and those who work in our busy towns and cities to remain vigilant and report any concerns to staff, security or- in confidence- to the police and gov.uk/ACT

Family pays tribute to cyclist involved in Chichester collision
Police have identified the cyclist who tragically died in a Chichester road traffic collision.

APPEAL- Robbery at store in Midhurst

Police are seeking witnesses to a robbery at a store in Midhurst in which cash was stolen.
Shortly before 9pm on Thursday 28 November a man entered Budgens store in White City, Midhurst, off Bepton Road, after the store had closed for business.
He threatened the two members of staff present with a long bladed weapon and took several thousand pounds in cash from the safe before making off.
The suspect is described as having mid-to-dark black skin, wearing black scarf concealing his lower face. He was about 5’11”, of stocky build and did not have a distinctive accent of any type. He wore navy blue mid-thigh length jacket with the hood up which zipped up, and matching navy blue trousers- both were made of a waterproof material. He was carrying a black bag as well as the weapon.

Bosham Hoe, Bosham- between 05:00pm on Friday 29 November and 12:30pm on Monday 2 December a lawn mower has been stolen.   Serial 0091 03/12
 
William Road, Chichester- between 12:30am and 02:15 on Tuesday 3 December the licence plates to a vehicle have been stolen.   Serial 0875 03/12
 
Merston, Tangmere- between 09:00pm on Tuesday 3 December and 07:15am on Wednesday 4 December two insecure vehicles on a secure driveway have been entered. A wallet containing £70 cash and bank cards has been taken.   Serial 0185 04/12
 
Easthampnett Lane, Tangmere- between 05:00pm on Tuesday 3 December and 08:45 on Wednesday 4 December a vehicle has been entered by breaking the passenger side window. A Satnav and tyre inflator has been stolen.   Serial 0275 04/12
 
Merston, Tangmere- between 01:00am and 06:00am on Wednesday 4 December an insecure vehicle has been entered. The vehicle has been searched but nothing taken. Bottles of water in the car have been emptied over the dash.   Serial 0867 04/12
 
Tern Crescent, Tangmere- between 20:00pm on Thursday 5 December and 07:15am on Friday 6 December a vehicle has been entered and headphones taken.   Serial 0276 06/12
 
Shopwhyke Road, Tangmere- between 10:00pm on Thursday 5 December and 09:00am on Friday 6 December a vehicle has been entered. Sunglasses and 40p stolen.   Serial 0339 06/12
 
Tern Crescent, Tangmere- between midnight and 04:00am on Friday 6 December a vehicle has been entered and a bank card stolen.   Serial 1278 06/12
 
Shopwhyke Road, Tangmere- between 04:00pm on Thursday 5 December and 10:00am on Friday 6 December a vehicle parked on a secure driveway has been entered and an iPod and small change has been taken.   Serial 0351 08/12
 
Main Road, Fishbourne- between 08:20am and 05:50pm on Monday 2 December the front gate to a property has been broken and a fence panel to the rear of the property has been broken.   Serial 1093 02/12
 
Meadowlands, Funtington- between 02:10pm and 05:00pm on Wednesday 4 December someone has tried to force the back door to a property and the lock has been damaged. The garden gate was also open, dustbin knocked over and flower pots moved.   Serial 0030 06/12

Mill Lane, Sidlesham- On Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December it has been noticed that headphones, wine and other alcohol has been taken from the kitchen of a property. Access is believed to have been gained through the unlocked kitchen door.    Serial 0311 02/12
 
The Bridleway, Selsey- it has been reported on Thursday 5 December that a brick has been thrown throw a bedroom window of a vacant property. The gate has also been damaged and the garage door broken and windows smashed.   Serial 0066 05/12
 
Marine Drive, West Wittering- between 01:00pm and 11:30pm on Friday 6 December a property has been entered by smashing the French doors. An untidy search has taken place but nothing taken.   Serial 1658 06/12
 
Jesticos Close, North Mundham- at 02:15am on Saturday 30 November a van has been entered via the rear door which has been forced. Two pairs of trainers, digital camera and flip phone have been taken.   Serial 0408 03/12
 
Kestrel Close, East Wittering- between 04:00pm on Wednesday 4 December and 08:30am on Thursday 5 December both number plates of a vehicle have been stolen.   Serial 0245 05/12
 
Rectory Lane, Selsey- between 03:00pm and 04:00pm on Thursday 5 December items have been removed from a skip and back window has been smashed. The car at the address has also been broken into.   Serial 0449 06/12

Church Lane, Petworth- between 10:00pm on Tuesday 3 December and 10:30am on Thursday 5 December a catalytic converter on a vehicle has been taken.   Serial 0457 05/12
 
Egmont Road, Midhurst- over the weekend into morning of Monday 2 December the front passenger window of the school mini bus bas been smashed.   Serial 0170 02/12
 
Cowdray Ruins, Midhurst- between 08:25pm and 09:30pm on Friday 6 December a group of youths have snapped a Christmas tree in half.   Serial 1698 06/12
