Scam Alert

A Lynchmere resident has received a phone call from a man stating that a new improved co-ordinated/ police/ fire/ ambulance scheme was about to be launched in Haslemere.  The caller invited him to join and tried to arrange a home visit to get the paperwork completed for which there would be an initial fee of £1.

This is not a scheme being run by either Surrey or Sussex Police and is likely to be a scam whereby an attempt is made to obtain personal details and also enter your property. If anything similar happens to you please report it to Sussex Police and Action Fraud.
