A number of arrests were made during this week. Offences include:- possession of Class A drug, possession of a bladed article, wanted on warrant, arson, criminal damage, actual bodily harm, drug driving, breach of restraining order, stalking, handle stolen goods, harassment, domestic assault, burglary dwelling, attempt burglary, money laundering, possession of Class b drug, theft and vehicle interference.
PCSO model will look to increase local engagement across Sussex
On Monday 4 November saw the launch of a named PCSO for every community in Sussex Police. Within this press release there is a link to click on which will then show you who your named PCSO is for the area where you live. Some areas may have more than one PCSO.
Neighbourhood Crime Summary (Burglary, Vehicle Crime, Criminal Damage)
Millfield Close, Chichester- On Saturday 2 November at around 05:00 pm a male has entered a property and stolen a TV and a Blender and the microwave was found in the back garden. Serial 1591 02/11
Graylingwell Drive, Chichester- Overnight on Saturday 2 November into Sunday 3 November a property has been entered through the back doors and items stolen. 0447 03/11
Hampden Place, Tangmere- Between 03:00pm on Saturday 26 October and 08:00am Monday 28 October a vehicle has been entered and an untidy search has been carried out, nothing taken. Serial 0227 28/10
Kingsham Avenue, Chichester- at 01:20am on Monday 28th October a vehicle parked on a drive has been entered and a torch and umbrella has been taken. Serial 0172 29/10
Chapel Street, Chichester- At Approximately 12:00 pm on Saturday 2 October a car has been found in underground carpark with windows smashed. Serial 0791 2/11
Oving Road, Chichester- between 05:00pm on Friday 1 November and 01:00pm on Saturday 2 November the rear window of a vehicle has been smashed entirely. Serial 0903 0211
Carleton Road, Chichester- between 09:00pm on Friday 1 November and 11:30 am on Saturday 2 November the passenger side front tyre has been punctured three times. Serial 1079 02/11
Caernarvon Road, Chichester- Between 09:00 pm on Friday 1 November and 08:00am on Saturday 2 November a vehicle has been entered through the passenger door and a search carried out, nothing taken. Serial 1847 02/11
Charles Avenue, Chichester- between 08:00pm on Friday 1 November and 10:30 am on Saturday 2 November a vehicle has been entered and change and a multi-tool has been stolen from the glove box. Serial 0534 03/11
Swanfield Drive, Chichester- On Thursday 31 October at approximately 6:45pm eggs have been thrown at front door. Serial 1131 31/10
Churchwood Drive, Chichester- On Thursday 31 October around 09:45pm a post-box has been set alight. Serial 0119 01/11
Selsey, The Witterings and surrounding area (WC2)
Kestrel Close, East Wittering- Overnight on Sunday 27 October into Monday 28 October a garage has been entered and a generator stolen. Serial 0336 28/10
Kestrel Close, East Wittering- Overnight on Sunday 27 October to Monday 28 October a garage has been entered and a large model helicopter and model boat have been stolen. Description: Large Nitro Helecopter, Kyosho Noxo 20 Model, yellow canopy on it. Red Hydroplane model boat. Serial 0672 28/10
Plover Close, East Wittering- Between Friday 18 October and Wednesday 30 October a garage has been entered and a mountain bike, road bike and son’s bike has been stolen. Description: men’s mountain bike, 27.5” wheels, black frame with green detailing. Men’s road bike white frame with red detailing. Toddler fireman bike 12” wheels with blue horn. Serial 0033 31/10
Midhurst, Petworth and surrounding area (WC3)
Swallows Bottom, Rogate- Between Sunday 20 October and Sunday 27 October a shed has been entered and three push bikes stolen, bush cutter and chainsaw. Serial 0036 28/10
Bepton, Rogate- At approximately 02:00pm on Monday 28 October someone has entered a workshop and taken various tools and batteries. Serial 1162 28/10
Bepton Road, Midhurst- Between 3:30pm on Tuesday 29 October and 09:00 am on Wednesday 30 October a property has been entered. The rear patio doors have been smashed and entry gained. Unknown if anything has been stolen. Serial 0365 30/10
