Worthing Police Dispersal Order - Tarring

Alert message sent 31/10/2019 13:45:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Dear Members,
You may already be aware that the police have placed a Dispersal Order in the Tarring area.
It came into effect at 11am this morning and lasts for a total period of 48 hours.
Unfortunately I have not been supplied with a map showing the exact areas covered,

The Dispersal Order means that the police can ask any groups of people to disperse and move away from the area. They can also take away any alcohol etc, and, where appropriate, make arrests. The reason it has been put in place in Tarring is as a result of the recent graffiti and anti-social behaviour in the area.

If you see any groups congregating and behaving in an anti-social or criminal manner, please call it in to police.
BE IN NO DOUBT THAT SHOULD BE A 999 CALL!
Hopefully there will also be a visible police presence in the area tonight.

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR NEIGHBOURS (MEMBERS OR NOT) ARE INFORMED AND
AWARE OF THE SITUATION

Please be vigilant, stay safe and under no circumstances personally engage with these idiots.
