A number of arrests were made during this week.  Offences include Harassment, Criminal Damage, Domestic Violence Assault, Assaulting a Police Officer, Excess Alcohol, Grievous Bodily Harm, Wanted on Warrant, Burglary, Stalking, Sexual Assault, Robbery, Possession of Class B Drugs, Theft from a Motor Vehicle, Failure to comply with a Community Protection Notice, Vehicle Interference, Possession of Class A Drugs, Shoplifting, Disqualified Driving, Affray, Drug Driving, Common Assault, Actual Bodily Harm and Fraud.
 
Man swiftly arrested in connection with burglary of Chichester Jewellers
 
Sussex Police have arrested a man in connection with a burglary of a Selsey jewellers.

Chichester (WC1)
 
The Square, Westbourne – On Monday 7 October we received a report of a break to a commercial premises at around 0230 hrs.  Serial 0090 7/10
 
Breach Avenue, Emsworth – On Monday 7 October we received a report of a garage being broken into overnight.  Chainsaws were stolen from the location.  Serial 0199 7/10
 
The Grove, Emsworth – On Monday 7 October we received a report of two breaks to a commercial premises.  A till was stolen from one location.  Serial 0237 7/10 & 0291 7/10
 
East Dean, Chichester – On Monday 7 October we received a report of a shed break overnight.  Three bikes were stolen from the location.  Serial 0258 7/10
 
Oving Road, Chichester – On Tuesday 8 October we received a report of a break to a commercial premises.  Tools were stolen from the location. 
 
The Trundle, Goodwood – On Tuesday 8 October we received a report of a vehicle being broken into between 0930x1030 hrs.  Power tools were stolen from the vehicle.  Serial 0476 8/10
 
Hunters Race, West Lavant – On Tuesday 8 October a vehicle was broken into between 1145x1210 hrs.  A window was smashed and jacket stolen from the vehicle.  Serial 0599 8/10
 
West Stoke Road, Lavant – On Tuesday 8 October a vehicle was broken into and a wallet stolen from the glove box.  Serial 0690 8/10
 
Brandy Hole Lane, Chichester – On Tuesday 8 October a woodland storage container was broken into and tools stolen.  Serial 0449 08/10
 
Sandringham Road, Chichester – On Friday 11 October we received a report of vehicle door handles being tried at the location at around 0040 hrs.  Serial  1118 11/10
 
North Street, Chichester – On Saturday 12 October we received a reporting of a break to a clothing store.  Clothing was stolen from the location.  Serial 0322 12/10
 
East Street, Chichester – On Sunday 13 October we received a report of a shop being broken into and perfume stolen.  Serial 1170 13/10
 
Selsey, The Witterings and surrounding area (WC2)
 
Longmeadow Gardens, Birdham – On Tuesday 8 October a vehicle was broken into on a driveway.  Power tools were stolen from the vehicle.  Serial 0200 8/10
 
St Georges Drive, Chichester – On Wednesday 9 October we received a report of a vehicle being tampered with between 30 September and 6 October.  Fuel lines were cut on the vehicle and fuel stolen.  Serial 1517 9/10
 
Western Road, Selsey – On Wednesday 9 October a vehicle was broken into overnight outside a property. Small change was stolen.  Serial 1684 9/10
 
Shalbourne Crescent, Bracklesham Bay – On Friday 11 October a residential property was broken into between 1630 hrs and 2300 hrs.  Entry was via a back door and valuables were stolen from the property.  Serial 1532 11/10
 
 
Midhurst, Petworth and surrounding area (WC3)
 
Rogate, Petersfield – On Wednesday 9 October we received a report of a shed break that occurred between 4 October and 5 October.  Two mountain bikes were stolen from the location.  Serial 0649 09/10
 
Lurgashall, Petworth – On Thursday 10 October we received a report of an overnight garage break.  Golf clubs were stolen from the location.  Serial 0337 10/10
