A number of arrests were made during this week.   Offences include, Domestic Violence Assault, Obstructing Arrest, Sexual Assault, Possession of Class b Drugs, Possession of an Offensive Weapon, Excess Alcohol, Drug Driving, Fraud, Driving with No Insurance, Child Neglect, theft of a Motor Vehicle, Attempted Burglary, Theft from a Motor Vehicle, Arson, Drunk and Disorderly, Wanted on Warrant, Grievous Bodily Harm, Assault Police, Malicious Communications, Affray, Common Assault, Criminal Damage, Actual Bodily Harm, Threats to Kill, Stalking, Breach of a Non Molestation Order, Possession of Class A Drugs and Harassment.
 
Man charged over incident on A259 at Littlehampton
 
Thank you for the kind messages about the welfare of our two police officers who were struck by a stolen Mercedes car in Littlehampton in the early hours of Monday morning.

Two arrested over incident in Bognor following which a man died.
 
The two arrests have been made by Police investigating a serious incident in Bognor, and the 32 year old man who sustained critical injuries has unfortunately, now died.

Felpham Way, Bognor Regis – On Wednesday 18 September a flat was broken into between the hours of 0830x1900 hrs.  Entry was via the front door.  Cash was stolen from the property.  Serial 1255 18/9
 
Lewes Close, Bognor Regis – On Thursday 19 September a residential property was broken into.  Entry was via damage to the front door.  Serial 1068 19/9
 
 
 
Vehicle Breaks
 
Unfortunately, we received a number of vehicle breaks across the Bognor Regis area during this week.  Locations include Ockley Road, Sandymount Avenue, Ash Grove, Downland Close, Pagham Road, Nyetimber lane, Pagham Road, Laurel Drive, Carlton Avenue, Mayfield Close, Central Avenue, Kenilworth Road, Roundle Avenue and Newtown Avenue.  
 
Vehicle breaks in Bognor Regis remains a priority for us and we continue to make arrests in this area.  Please continue to report any vehicle breaks or suspicious activity to us.  If you have any CCTV or video doorbell footage of vehicle breaks or criminal activity this this area, please let us know online or via 101.  If a vehicle break is in progress, please phone 999.
 
Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround

Barnett Close, Eastergate – On Thursday 19 September we received a report of a residential burglary between the hours of 0900x1310 hrs.  Cash and documentation was stolen from the property.  Serial 0660 19/9

Nightingale Lane, Barnham – On Saturday 21 September we received notification of a vehicle break. It is believed the vehicle was insecure and small change was stolen from the vehicle.  Serial 1590 21/9

Skylark Way, Barnham – On Sunday 22 September we received a report of a vehicle break that occurred overnight.  A wallet was stolen from the vehicle.  Serial 1196 22/9

Vehicle Breaks

Unfortunately, we received a number of vehicle breaks across the Littlehampton area during this week.  Locations include Holly Drive – Wick, Bayford Road, South Terrace, The Estuary, The Ridings – East Preston, Parkside Avenue, Belloc Road – Wick, St Mary’s Way, The Poplars, Maxwell Road, Norfolk Gardens and The Chine.
