A number of arrests were made during this week.  Offences include:  Domestic Violence Assault, Wanted on Warrant, Threats to Kill, Possession with Intent to Supply Class B Drugs, Possession of Class A Drugs, Burglary, Actual Bodily Harm, Excess Alcohol, Racially Aggravated Public Order, Affray, Child Neglect, Assaulting a Police Officer, Possession of a Knife, Outraging Public Decency, Attempt Grievous Bodily Harm, Shoplifting, Common Assault, Drug Driving, Stalking, Dangerous Driving, theft, Driving a vehicle with no insurance, threats to kill, Grievous Bodily Harm and Handling Stolen Goods.

Policing Minister visits Sussex to launch national PC recruitment campaign

On the day of the launch of the national campaign to recruit 20,000 extra polices, Minister of State for Crime, Policing and the Fire Service, Kit Malt-house, visited Police Headquarters, Lewes, to learn more about officer recruitment in Sussex.

Bognor
 
Pagham Road, Pagham – On Monday 2 September during the day a property was entered and jewellery stolen.  Serial 1520 of 02/09.
 
London Road, Bognor – On Thursday 5 September, during late evening a shop was broken into.   It is believed that the suspects made off as soon as the alarm activated; nothing reported stolen however damage was caused to the door.  Serial 1574 of 05/09.  
 
High Street, Hotham – On Sunday 1 September between 7.00 pm and 7.50 pm a campervan was broken in to and a TV and satnav stolen.  Serial 0490 of 02/09.

 
Merrion Avenue, Orchard – Overnight on Tuesday 3 September a vehicle was entered and loose change was stolen.  Serial 0778 of 04/09.
 
Clyde Road, Felpham – Overnight on Friday 6 September a vehicle was entered and a sat nav stolen.  Serial 0469 of 07/09.  

 
Marshall Avenue, Bognor – Overnight on Friday 6 September a vehicle was entered and a laptop stolen.  Serial 0584 of 07/09.

Broadmark Lane, Rustington – On Tuesday 3 September during the early hours of the morning a property was entered and a handbag stolen; two cycles were also stolen from the garage.  Serial 0231 of 03/09.
 
Wick Street, Wick – Overnight on Monday 2 September a shop was broken into and a charity box stolen.   Serial 0270 of 03/09. 
 
Beach Road, River – Overnight on Tuesday 3 September a shop was broken into and five charity boxes were stolen.  Serial 0226 of 04/09.

 
High Street, Littlehampton – On Thursday 5 September there was an attempt break to a shop; no entry was gained.  Serial 0479 of 05/09.  
 
Fontwell Close, Rustington – Overnight on Monday 2 September a vehicle was broken into and an iPod was stolen.  Serial 1421 of 03/09.

 
Oakcroft Gardens, Brookfield – Overnight on Friday 6 September a van was entered; nothing reported stolen.  Serial 0326 of 07/09.
 
Worthing Road, Wick – Overnight on Friday 6 September an insecure vehicle was entered; nothing reported stolen. Serial 0704 of 07/09.

 
Anti-Social Behaviour
 
Mewsbrook Park, Hendon Avenue, Rustington – On Thursday 5 September during the early hours of the morning there was a report of youths gathering and playing music loudly.  Serial 0138 of 05/09.
