Update on last weekend's Operation Blitz activity

Operation Blitz this weekend started with a patrol of Landport and Ringer where we are happy to report that there were no issues in either of the locations.

We then moved on to Peacehaven where we came across an elderly male who was lost, where we helped him return home to his family safe and well.

Our next stop was to Telescombe cliffs due to youths jumping in the sea. Concerns were raised due to the extremely rough weather and we were worried for their safety. On our attendance we spoke to the youths, gave them words of advice and they left the area.

We were then called to Seaford due to a report that there was a fight occurring in the street. On our attendance the situation with the males was dealt with appropriately and we continued our patrols around the Seaford area.

Our next two stops were to Tesco, Lewes and Ringmer, where again all was quiet and no issues were found.

We later had a call back to Seaford due to another fight whereby a local shop had been damaged, we attended and an individual was arrested in relation to this incident.

We were called to other incidents throughout the evening, however, most of the local hotspots were patrolled at least once throughout the Operation Blitz shift.
