News and appeals

Numerous arrests were made during the week.  Offences include: possession of Class A drug, excess alcohol, actual bodily harm, assault police, common assault, possession of Class B drug, drug driving, breach of the peace, wanted on warrant, shoplifting, stalking, criminal damage, cannabis production and breach of non-molestation order and burglary dwelling, drink driving and affray.

Crime summary

Alder Way, Middleton – Overnight on Thursday 25 July a garage was entered and three cycles were stolen.   Serial 0267 of 28/07.
Elm Tree Close, Bersted – On Thursday 25 July during the afternoon, West Sussex Fire and Rescue attended to a deliberate ignition to rubbish. Serial 1146 of 25/07.

Drygrounds Lane, Felpham – Ovenright on Saturday 20 July a vehicle was entered; loose change and sweets stolen.    Serial 1559 of 220/7.

Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround
Horsemere Green Lane, Littlehampton – Overnight on Sunday 21 July a shed was broken into and a lawnmower and copper water heater stolen.  Serial 0385 of 22/07.
Stanley Road, Wick – On Tuesday 23 July a property was broken into; no items reported stolen however the front door was badly damaged.  Serial 0579 of 23/07.
Honey Lane, Angmering – On Friday 26 July a property was broken into and a laptop stolen.   Point of entry was via the front door which had been badly damaged.  Serial 1375 of 26/07.
Church Lane, Lyminster – On Friday 26 July an outhouse was broken into and a glass ornament broken.    Serial 0529 of 28/07.

East Street, Littlehampton – On Monday 22 July between 0430 and 0530 hours there was a deliberate ignition to two vans.  Serial 0919 of 22/07.    

Upton Brooks, Barnham – Overnight on Saturday 27 July, a vehicle was entered and a purse, Tom Tom sat nav and debit cards stolen.   Serial 05821 of 28/07.    We would urge the public to continue to report any anti-social behaviour they witness in Bognor town centre by calling 101. Thank you.
Anti-Social Behaviour
Parsons Close, Angmering – On Monday 22 July, just after 9.00 pm there was a report of an anti-social moped driver, driving dangerously on the footpath.    Serial 1589 of 220/7.   
Phoenix Close, Ham – On Tuesday 23 July during the afternoon there was a report of two young youths on a small motorcycle by the shops driving dangerously.   Serial 0840 of 23/07.
