Cash boost for 4th Hastings Brownies

The 4th Hastings Brownies have received a £350 donation from Sussex Police.
It was secured by Police Community Support Officer Daryl Holter from the Police Property Act Fund, PPAF.

This is made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the courts and then sold.

PCSO Holter, a heritage crime officer, said: " I am delighted to have been able to help the 4th Hastings Brownies in this way.

"I'm told the money will go towards craft equipment, badges, books, hand books and activity equipment”.

Brownies group leader Tina Foster said: “We are really grateful to Sussex Police - the funding will make a real difference.

"Buying new resources and badge books the girls will be able to access up-to-date badge work to support them to develop in many areas and provide them with new and important skills for their futures.

"By each girl having their own badge book they will be able to record their progress as well as work towards badges away from our weekly meetings."
