Numerous arrests were made during the week. Offences include: domestic assault, wanted on warrant, possession of Class A drug, theft, going equipped, excess alcohol, shoplifting, criminal damage, actual bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon, grievous bodily harm, harassment, burglary dwelling, criminal damage, theft of motor vehicle, assault police, possession of Class B, breach of non-molestation order, fail to stop and cycle theft.

Sussex Police which already leads the way for all forces with a ground breaking scheme ‘Operation Signature’ identifying and supporting older and vulnerable people at risk of theft and fraud, welcomes publication on 17 July of a Report by HM Inspectorate of Constabulary. Woman banned from Arun and Chichester for five years

Old Rectory Gardens, Felpham – Overnight on Wednesday 11 July there was an attempt break to a property; no entry was gained but damage was caused to one of the patio doors. Serial 0529 of 11/07.
Middleton Road, Middleton – Overnight on Friday 12 July, there was an attempt break to a property; no entry was gained but tool marks were evident around the door. Serial 0615 of 13/07.
North Way, Felpham – Overnight on Tuesday 9 July a vehicle was entered and loose change stolen. Serial 0296 of 10/07.
Highcroft Avenue, Hotham – Overnight on Tuesday 9 July a vehicle was entered and a webcam was stolen. Serial 0335 of 10/07.
Somerton Green, Felpham – Overnight on Wednesday 10 July an insecure vehicle was entered; no items reported stolen. Serial 0234 of 11/07.

Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround
High Street, River – On Saturday 6 July, during the early hours of the morning a business was entered and an employee’s mobile phone and tobacco was stolen. Serial 1041 of 08/07.
Middle Way, Kingston Gorse – On Thursday 11 July during the early hours of the morning a vehicle was entered and the remote control for the garage taken which was then used to access the garage. Three cycles were stolen. Serial 0177 of 11/07.
Kingston Lane, East Preston – On Thursday 11 July during the early hours of the morning there was an attempt break to a summer house; nothing was reported stolen. Serial 0183 of 11/07.
East Ham Road, Littlehampton – Overnight on Wednesday 10 July there was an attempt break to a property; no entry was gained. Serial 0588 of 11/07.
Smallcroft Closes, River – On Wednesday 10 July during the early hours of the morning, an insecure vehicle was entered and a phone stolen. Serial 1194 of 10/07.
Golden Avenue, East Preston – Overnight on Wednesday 10 July an insecure vehicle was entered and a ‘Mont Blanc’ wallet stolen. Serial 0391 of 11/07.
Slindon Bottom Road, Fontwell – On Sunday 14 July there was a report of anti-social behaviour by off-road bike riders. Serial 0862 of 14/07.
