News and appeals
 
Numerous arrests were made during the week.  Offences include: domestic assault, wanted on warrant, possession of Class A drug, theft, going equipped, excess alcohol, shoplifting, criminal damage, actual bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon, grievous bodily harm, harassment, burglary dwelling, criminal damage, theft of motor vehicle, assault police, possession of Class B, breach of non-molestation order, fail to stop and cycle theft.
 
Motorcyclist seriously injured in A285 Petworth Collision
 
We are investigating a road traffic collision between a Toyota Yaris and a motorcycle that occurred on Sunday 7 July.  Can you help with your investigation?  More details are below:

Dempsey Road, Chichester – On Wednesday 10 July A Yamaha MT07 motorbike was stolen from outside a property.  Serial 0891 10/7
 
Grove Road, Chichester – Overnight into 11 July a vehicle was broken into.  Serial 0474 11/7
 
Friary Lane, Chichester – On Thursday 11 July a garden outhouse was broken into.  The suspect gained entry to the garden and then broke into the building.  A computer was stolen from the location.  Serial 1278 11/7
 
Old Park Lane, Chichester – On Thursday 11 July a vehicle was broken into whilst parked in a layby.  Cash, bank cards and driving licence was stolen from the vehicle.  Serial 1336 11/7
 
Downs Road, West Stoke – On Thursday 11 July a vehicle was broken into and purse stolen including cash and bank cards.  Serial 0927 11/7
 
Smugglers Lane Bosham – On Friday 12 July a vehicle was broken and a dashcam stolen from he vehicle.  Serial 0084 12/7
 
Downs Road, West Stoke – On Friday 12 July we received a report of a garage burglary.  Serial 0931 12/7
 
Williams Road, Bosham – On Sunday 14 July we received a report of a flat being broken into.  A playstation was taken from the property.  Serial 0089 14/7
 
The Close, Boxgrove – On Sunday 14 July a van was broken into and work tools stolen.  Serial 0422 14/7
 
Pound Farm Road, Chichester – On Sunday 14 July a van was broken into and work tools stolen.  Serial 1572 14/7

Dell Quay Road, Chichester – On Tuesday 9 July we received a report that a boat had been broken into.  Serial 0963 09/07
 
Birdham Road, Chichester – On Friday 12 July a van was broken into.  A bag of medication and personal possessions was removed from the vehicle.  Serial 0589 12/7
 
 
Midhurst, Petworth and surrounding area (WC3)
 
Hatch Lane, Haslemere – On Tuesday 9 July we received a report that two sheds were broken into overnight.  A number of items were stolen including bikes and a boat motor.  A suspect black vehicle was seen in the location at the time.  Serial 0677 09/07
 
Duncton, Petworth – On Tuesday 9 July we received a report of a shed and garage break.  A quad bike and gardening equipment has been stolen.  Serial 1285 09/07
 
Church Lane, Bury – On Wednesday 10 July we received a report of a break to a workshop.  Wine and gardening equipment was stolen.  Serial 0908 10/7
 
B2146, South Harting – On Thursday 11 July a vehicle was broken into and handbag stolen.  Serial 0838 11/7
 
Cathanger Lane, Graffham – On Thursday 11 July a vehicle was broken into and windows smashed.  A laptop was stolen from the vehicle.  Serial 1222 11/7
 
New Road, Midhurst – On Sunday 14 July we received a report that a vehicle was broken into in Ambersham Common Car Park on 12 July.  Nothing of value was stolen from the vehicle.  Serial 0648 14/7
 
Lavington Com, Graffham – On Sunday 14 July a vehicle was broken into whilst parked in a car park.  A phone and bank cards were taken from the vehicle.  Serial 0469 14/7
