WORDS OF ADVICE
Sussex Police receives many call from people saying that their vehicle has been broken into and valuables stolen. Please ensure that all valuables are locked in the boot and out of sight when the vehicle is unattended.
Monday 08th July 2019 to Sunday 14th July 2019
A livery yard in the Bognor Regis area was entered overnight and the back part of all four legs were shaved. Be aware.
A farm in Blakehurst Arundel has had several break ins over recent weeks, machinery has been moved, a vehicle has been emptied of diesel and last night a freight container was broken into. Tools to the value of £1,500.00 were stolen, these include a battery powered grinder, a battery powered impact driver and a battery powered grease gun.
Brighton & Hove
A gas bottle and regulator have been stolen from a caravan in Bracklesham, value £175.00.
WSF&R attended a roof fire on a farm in London Road Liss.
ESF&R attended a hay bale fire in Upper Bromgrove road Hastings, the fire service confirm that ignition was deliberate.
WSF&R attended a field fire off Church Place Pulborough.
A section of post and rail fencing to a field in Lewes Road Ringmer has been vandalised and the repair costs are likely to be around £1,000.00.
An unsuccessful attempt was made to steal a blue New Holland P4. 75 from a barn in Streat Hassocks.
Approximately £175 worth of red diesel has been stolen from a farm in Plumpton Lane Lewes.
A farm in Hammerwood Road Ashurst Wood East Grinstead was entered and the sun roof of a Range Rover was smashed, repair costs £1,200.00 and 4 sections of fencing was smashed, repair costs £750.00.
A white Fleetwood Sonata Noturne has been stolen from a farm in Foords Lane Road Pevencey. Value £6,000.00.
A red Honda Relation quadbike which had a hedge cutter and a chain saw on it were all stolen from a farm in Shepherds Hill Uckfield. Value £10,000.00.
A farm in Lewes Road Uckfield was entered and scaffolding poles and plastic tubes to the value of £3,000.00 was stolen.
