News and appeals

Numerous arrests were made over this week.  Offences included driving whilst disqualified, drink driving, driving without insurance, common assault, actual bodily harm, vehicle interference, actual bodily harm, breach of restraining order, possession of class B, breach of criminal behaviour order, burglary dwelling, assault police, affray, wanted on warrant and obstruction.      
 
Elderly victims targeted in linked Arun burglaries
A total of four properties were burgled in Aldwick and Bersted.

Crime summary

Bognor

Kenilworth Road, Bognor – On Wednesday 10 April just after mid-night, there was an attempt break to a property.  The glass to a window was smashed and the occupant saw an unknown male suspect running away.   Serial 0004 of 10/04.  
 
Victoria Drive, Bognor – Overnight on Tuesday 9 April a property was entered and a wallet stolen.  Serial 0169 of 10/04.
 
Normans Drive, Felpham – On Monday 8 April there was a report of a garage having been broken into; no items reported stolen however damage caused to the door.  Serial 0290 of 11/04. 
 
Wordsworth Gardens, Felpham – During the afternoon of Saturday 13 April a property was broken into and jewellery stolen.  Serial 0830 of 13/04.
 
Murina Avenue, Orchard – On Saturday 13 April a property was broken into and jewellery stolen.  Serial 0927 of 13/04.
 
Flansham Lane, Felpham – Overnight on Sunday 7 April a vehicle was entered; nothing reported stolen however damaged caused to the door.  Serial 0571 of 08/04.
 
Ash Grove, Orchard – Overnight on Monday 8 April a vehicle was entered and a sat nav stolen.   Serial 0601 of 09/04.
 
Limmer Lane, Felpham – Overnight on Saturday 6 April a vehicle was entered and a first aid kit and loose change was stolen.  Serial 1381 of 09/04.  
 
Old Rectory Gardens, Felpham – Overnight on Tuesday 9 April the window to a vehicle was smashed and loose change stolen.  Serial 0508 of 10/04.   
 
Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround

Worthing Road, Littlehampton – On Wednesday 10 April we received a report of tools having been stolen from a shed.  Serial 0564 of 10/04.
 
Ford Road, Ford – On Monday 8 April during late evening, there was an attempt break to a unit, no entry was gained as the suspects were disturbed by a neighbour.  Serial 1418 of 08/04

Anti-Social Behaviour

Arun Parade, River – On Monday 8 April there was a report of youths drinking and being noisy in the vicinity.  Serial 1025 of 08/04.
