Numerous arrests were made over the week in Arun and Chichester. The offences include threats to damage, driving whilst disqualified, excess alcohol, actual bodily harm, grievous bodily harm, possession of Class B drugs, breach of the peace, domestic assault, fraud, theft, drunk and disorderly, shoplifting, wilful obstruction of the highway, conspire to supply Class A and B drugs.


Man seriously assaulted in Bognor Regis

We're appealing for witnesses after a local man was discovered with serious injuries in Bognor Regis High Street.

Mystery of man with head injuries on Bognor seafront

Were you out and about along Bognor seafront during the early hours of Sunday 6 May and did you see anything suspicious? A young man sustained serious head injuries and is still in hospital - please contact us if you can help.

Police act on public concerns on anti-social behaviour in Arun

We are dedicated to tackling issues of anti-social behaviour in Littlehampton and Bognor.

We have been working alongside Arun District Council and British Transport Police to crack down on this issue.  This type of behaviour will not be tolerated.   Please click on link below:-



Anti-Social Behaviour

A 12-year-old boy from Bognor, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has entered a not guilty plea to criminal damage.   He is next due to appear at Worthing Magistrates Court for trial on July 5.  Please report any instances of anti-social behaviour to us immediately.

There have been breaks to two cafes in Bognor, both occurred overnight on Monday 7 May in Aldwick and Wednesday 9 May in Felpham.

Marine Drive, West – Between Saturday 5 May and Monday 7 May a beach hut was broken into.  Serial 1265 of 08/05. Serial 1265 of 08/05.


Bedford Street, Marine – Overnight on Wednesday 9 May a shop was broken into and a donation charity box stolen.   Serial 0308 of 10/05.


Brooks Lane, Hotham – Overnight on Sunday 6 May a vehicle was broken into and  loose change stolen.  Serial 0793 of 07/05.


Sussex Street, Hotham – Overnight on Tuesday 8 May a vehicle was broken into and a sports bag stolen.  Serial 0191 of 09/05.


Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround


Barnett Close, Eastergate – During the evening of Wednesday 9 May, a shed was broken into and gardening equipment stolen.  Serial 1332 of 09/05.


Church Street, Littlehampton – On Wednesday 9 May during the day a property was broken into; we do not have any details at the time of writing this bulletin.   Serial 0975 of 10/05.


Foxes Croft, Barnham – Over the past few days there was an attempt break to a property where damage had been caused to the window frames; no entry was gained.  Serial 0544 of 11/05.


Irvine Road, Littlehampton – Over the weekend, number plates were stolen from a vehicle. Serial 0425 of 07/05.
