News and appeals

Numerous arrests were made over the week in Arun and Chichester. The offences include shoplifting, common assault, theft, going equipped, fail to stop, excess alcohol, drunk and disorderly, affray, wanted on warrant, threats to damage, possession of Class A drug, domestic assault, grievous bodily harm, actual bodily harm, disqualified driving, no vehicle insurance, drug driving and possession of Class B drug.

Crime summary



Sandringham Way, Bognor – Overnight on Sunday 29 April a wing mirror was stolen from a vehicle.   Serial 0227 of 30/04.


Canada Grove, Bognor – On Saturday 5 May between 10.00 am and 11.45 pm a Peugeot Vox moped was stolen.   Serial 1476 of 05/05.  


Durban Park, Orchard – Overnight on Saturday 6 May five vehicles parked outside a unit all had their quarter-lights smashed.  Serial 1012 of 06/05.


Woodlands Road, Bersted – Between Sunday 29 April and Tuesday 1 May a shed was broken into; gardening items and tools were stolen.  Serial 1508 of 02/05.

Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround


Fitzalan Road, Arundel – Overnight on Sunday 22 April a van was broken into; no items were stolen.  Serial 0615 of 03/05.


Havenwood, Arundel – On Tuesday 1 May between 4.10pm and 5.20pm a chalet was broken into and a small amount of cash stolen.  Serial 0980 of 01/05.


Climping Street, Climping – Between Monday 23 April and Thursday 3 May a property was entered and high value tools stolen.  Serial 0428 of 03/05. 


Sea Road, East Preston – On Thursday 3 May, a property was broken into; no further details are available at the time of writing this bulletin. Serial 1461 of 03/05.


Bayford Road, Littlehampton – During the evening of Friday 4 May there was an attempt break to a property; the lock was damaged but no entry gained.  Serial 1477 of 04/05.


Bridge Road, Littlehampton - Overnight on Saturday 5 May, a storage unit was entered and several containers broken into.   Serial 0374 of 06/05.
