Numerous arrests were made over the week in Arun and Chichester. The offences include domestic assault, excess alcohol, drunk and disorderly, shoplifting, disqualified driving, theft by employee, trespass on railway, dangerous driving, affray, threats to destroy property, criminal damage and attempted theft of pedal cycle.  

Stolen Yamaha Motorcycle Found – Good Work! 


On Tuesday 16 April, during the early hours of the morning there was a report of a blue Yamaha motorbike having been stolen from a location in Palmer Road, Angmering. The victim had been out looking for the bike but with no luck! At 8.00 am Prevention PCSO Oakley came to work with a picture of an abandoned Yamaha she believed may have been stolen; good news - she had located the stolen Yamaha!


This has been recovered for SOCO and a message left for the owner to make contact to arrange for it to be returned to them.

Over the weekend there were seven reported breaks to vehicles in Felpham and Orchard.  Items stolen include loose change and sunglasses.     Please click on prevention advice link below:-


The Layne, Middleton – On Friday 13 April between 2.00pm and 3.00pm there was an attempt break to a property where a rear patio window had been smashed; no entry was gained.  Serial 1444 of 13/04.


Wedgwood Road, Felpham – Between Friday 13 April and Saturday 14 April a garage was broken into and a black/white Brevetto pedal cycle was stolen.  Serial 0304 of 14/04.

Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround


Hollist Chase, Wick – On Monday 9 April, during the early hours of the morning, an insecure garage was entered and a chainsaw stolen.  Serial 0184 of 11/04.


Arundel Road, Littlehampton – On Thursday 12 April, between 12pm and 5pm a pit bike was stolen from a shed.   Serial 0257 of 13/04.


Woodgate Road, Westergate – On Friday 13 April between 12.30 pm and 3pm a property was broken into and a small amount of cash and a bank card stolen.  Serial 0841 of 13/04.


The Cape, Littlehampton – Overnight on Wednesday 11 April, there was an attempt break to a van where the suspect had tried to drill the rear door mechanism; no entry was gained.  Serial 0293 of 12/04.
