Numerous arrests were made over the week in Arun and Chichester. The offences included:- domestic assault, wanted on warrant, shoplifting, possession of offensive weapon, drug driving, criminal damage, affray, actual bodily harm and grievous bodily harm.

Crime summary

Bognor Regis


Westway, Hotham – Overnight on Saturday 31 March, a vehicle was broken into and a leather holdall containing clothing stolen.   Serial 1008 of 01/04.


Wessex Avenue, Aldwick – Overnight on Wednesday 28 March, the windscreen to a vehicle was smashed. Serial 0262 of 29/03.    


Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround


Meadsway, Slindon – Overnight on Monday 26 March, a van was broken into and tools stolen.  Serial 0210 of 24/03.


Ivy Lane, Westergate – Between Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 March a van was broken into and tools stolen.   Serial 0227 of 27/03.


Blackbourne Chase, Wick – Overnight on Wednesday 28 March a vehicle was entered; no items were stolen.  Serial 0264 of 29/03.


Battin Lane, Wick – Overnight on Wednesday 28 March a van was entered; no items were stolen.  Serial 0999 of 29/03.


River Road, Littlehampton – On Wednesday 28 March between 12.40 and 13.40 pm a container was broken into.  Items stolen include a wacker, outboard motor and red drill.  Serial 0732 of 28/03.


East Ham Road, Littlehampton – Between Sunday 25 March and Wednesday 28 March a garage was broken into and a cycle stolen.   Serial 0849 of 31/03. 


Mant Close, Climping – Between Sunday 25 March and Sunday 1 April there was an attempt break to a property where the door had been tampered with; no entry was gained.  Serial 0348 of 01/04.
