News and appeals


Numerous arrests were made over the week in Arun and Chichester. The offences included:- Drink Driving, Possession of Class A and Class B, Affray, Shoplifting, Assault, Burglary, Theft, Breach of the Peace and Harassment.


Police seek mystery man who forced his way into Bognor Flat


Police are appealing for information after a mystery early morning incident at a flat in Bognor Regis.  Please see the below link for further information….





Appeal for witnesses after windows smashed at Bognor Hotel

Police seek to increase awareness of ‘Clare’s Law’. 


Sussex Police is carrying out a social media campaign to raise awareness of ‘Clare’s Law’.  This is a Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme and enables people to apply for information about their partner’s (or ex-partner’s history if they are concerned about their own safety.  Link below for further information.

Sussex Police have successfully raised £35,000 for Chestnut Tree House, the Chief Constable’s charity of the year 2017.  Link below






Bognor Regis


Norbren Avenue, Bognor Regis – On Monday 19 March, a van was broken into and stolen items, including a phone and SatNav.  Serial 0127 19/3


Marquis Way, Bognor Regis – On Saturday 24 March, tyres were damaged to a vehicle.  Serial 0402 24/3



Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround


Roundstone Drive, East Preston – On Monday 19 March, a vehicle was broken into.  No damage to vehicle or items stolen.  Serial  0108 19/3


The Darlingtons, Rustington – On Monday 19 March a specially adapted bike was stolen from a garage.  Serial 0141 19/3


Russels Close, East Preston – On Monday 19 March a mountain bike was stolen from a garage.  Serial 1230 19/3


Lammas Close, Wick, Littlehampton – On Monday 19 March, a van was broken into and tools stolen.  Serial 0166 19/3


Downs Way, East Preston – On Monday 19 March, a car was broken into and a locking wheel nut stolen.  Serial 0169 19/3


Queen Street, Littlehampton – On Monday 19 March, a vehicle was broken into causing damage to the door and tools stolen.  Serial 0201 19/3


Flint Close, East Preston – On Monday 19 March, an unlocked vehicle was accessed and around £30 loose change stolen.  Serial 0475 19/3


Thorncroft Road, Littlehampton – On Monday 19 March a van was broken into and tools to the value of around £1,500 have been stolen.  Serial 0491 19/3


Clarence Drive, East Preston – On Tuesday 20 March a vehicle was broken into and loose change stolen from glove box.  Serial 1385 20/3


Arundel Road, Littlehampton – On Wednesday 21st March it was reported that all three vehicles on one driveway were broken into overnight.  Tools were stolen from a van and damage caused to the cars.  Serial 1157: 21/3
