Numerous arrests were made over the week in Arun and Chichester. The offences included:- domestic assault, excess alcohol, fail to stop, shoplifting, going equipped, criminal damage, driving whilst disqualified, common assault, harassment possession of class A, possession of class B, affray, theft and wanted on warrant.

Scam Presentations


PCSO Richard Moorey, based at Chichester Police Station, has specifically designed a presentation that highlights the common tactics used by scammers and fraudsters.  He talks about scam mail, courier fraud and computer fraud as well as how to deal with door to door callers, rogue traders and unwanted callers.  The presentation takes between 45 minutes to 1 hour and there is an opportunity to ask questions at the end.  He is available to visit any groups across the Arun and Chichester district.  To arrange a talk, please e-mail or by calling 07912 894767.

0601 of 01/03 – Between Wednesday 28 February and Thursday 1 March a vehicle was entered via unknown means; an untidy search but no vehicles broken.  Serial 0601 of 01/03.


Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround


Cropthorne Drive, Climping – Overnight on Tuesday 27 February there was an attempt break to a property; no entry was gained.  Serial 0268 of 28/02.


The Street, East Preston – On Saturday 24 February there was an attempt break to a property; no entry was gained but damage was caused to the door.  Serial 0903 of 28/03.


Cherry Avenue, Yapton – Overnight on Wednesday 28 February there was an attempt break to a property; no entry was gained.  Serial 0301 of 01/03.


St Martins Road, Littlehampton – Overnight on Sunday 25 February, a window to a vehicle was smashed and items stolen from within.  Serial 0287 of 26/02.
