Numerous arrests were made over the weekend in Arun and Chichester. The offences included:- affray, shoplifting, criminal damage, domestic assault, excess alcohol, wanted on warrant, theft and harassment.

Crime summary

Bognor Regis


Burnham Avenue, Bognor – Overnight on Friday 16 February a vehicle was entered via unknown means and a sat nav stolen.  Serial 0465 of 19/02.


Mons Avenue, Orchard – Overnight on Tuesday 20 February, a vehicle was broken into’ no items reported stolen.  Serial 0304 of 21/02.


Havelock Road, Orchard – Overnight on Thursday 22 February, a vehicle was scratched causing damage to all panels.  Serial 0404 of 23/02.


Corbishley Road, Orchard – Overnight on Thursday 22 February, a van was broken into and high value tools stolen.  Serial 0291 of 23/02.


Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround


Rustington – We received several reports of beach huts having been broken into overnight on Tuesday 20 February, where damage and been caused to locks and various items stolen from within.     Serial 0592 of 21/02.


Wick Parade, Wick – Overnight on Wednesday 21 February a window was smashed to a shop.  Serial 0145 of 22/02.   


Mill Lane, Arundel – On Tuesday 20 February a vehicle was broken into and dog items stolen.  Serial 0763 of 21/02.
