Some crime prevention advice for vehicle owners

Mark your parts – Have your car’s valuable parts security marked. There are many ways that you can do this, either by getting it laser etched or with an ultraviolet pen, companies can do this for you or you can buy DIY kits where you can register your parts.

Fit an Approved Alarm System – Prices can vary on alarm systems, from GPS tracking systems to a good steering wheel lock. Any visual deterrent is a great way to prevent your vehicle from being stolen.

Mind where you park – Your Land Rover is more likely to be targeted if it is left in a quiet unlit location. Park it in a garage if possible, if not on a driveway blocked by another vehicle or in a well-lit secure area. A simple CCTV system fitted where you park your vehicle can be an excellent deterrent.
