Witnesses sought to incident outside Burgess Hill pub.

Police are seeking witnesses to a late-night incident in Burgess Hill town centre on Friday (9 February) in which a teenage girl was arrested on suspicion of public order offences.

Man imprisoned for stabbing in Haywards Heath.

Ricky Minott has been given 14 years in prison for GBH with intent for stabbing the man at a flat in Burchetts Close last January.

Sussex Police supports national week to prevent knife crime.

This week (February 12 to 18) sees the start of a national campaign to tackle knife crime and highlight the risks of carrying a knife. Op Sceptre is a countrywide operation, led by the Metropolitan Police, and aims to reduce the number of people, especially young people, who carry a weapon.

Police are searching for Louis Hickman who is wanted for failing to appear at court.

Taylor-Baker, 22, from Francis Close, Haywards Heath, is wanted for breaching the conditions of his suspended sentence for two assaults by beating and assaulting a police officer while on duty.
