Information wanted concerning serious assault in Worthing

During the early hours of Monday (5 February) a Polish man was seriously assaulted inside Victoria Court, Clifton Road, Worthing.  

Detective Inspector Alan Pack, of the community investigation team, said: "The victim is being treated by medical staff. His condition is described as serious but stable."

Anyone who saw what happened to the man or who has any information that may be of assistance is asked to contact Sussex Police online or by phoning 101, quoting Operation Marshbrook.

Burglary

 

Reference: 0944 02/02/2018

Location: Chesswood Road Worthing

Date and time: Between 13:45 and 16:30 on the 2nd February

Details: It is unknown how entry was gained to a property. Cash and a wallet were stolen.

Reference: 0648 07/02/2018

Location: Cotswold Road Worthing

Date and time: Between 6th and 7th February

Details: Entry gained to a property by forcing a door. Fishing equipment and cash stolen.

Location: Nelson Road Goring by Sea

Date and time: Between 17:00 -18:00 on the 07th February

Details: Entry was gained to a property by forcing a door. An Xbox and wallet were stolen.

Location: Nelson Road Goring by Sea

Date and time: Between 16:30 -22:20 on the 7th February

Details: It is unknown how access was gained to a property. A coat, jewellery and cash were stolen.

Location: Dagmar Street Worthing

Date and time: Between 11:00 -16:30 on the 08th February

Details: A lock and door were damaged to gain entry to a property. A play station and tablet were stolen

Location: Oxford Road Worthing

Date and time: Between 13:00 -22:40

Details: It is believed access was gained to a property through a bathroom window. Jewellery and a laptop were stolen.

Reference: 0477 02/02/2018

Location: Eastern Avenue Shoreham by Sea

Date and time: Overnight on the 31st January

Details: A shed was broken into a hammer and glasses were stolen and later recovered.

Location: Longshore Drive Shoreham by sea

Date and time: Overnight on the 7th February

Details: A bicycle was stolen from a shed
