News and appeals
 

Numerous arrests were made over the weekend in Arun and Chichester. The offences included:- actual bodily harm, excess alcohol, vehicle interference, possession of Class A drug, theft from person, domestic assault, drunk and disorderly and wanted on warrant.

£12,500 worth of cleaning equipment stolen in Chichester

Crime summary
 

Chichester (WC1)

 

Tangmere Road, Chichester – Between Saturday 20 January and Monday 22 January, a building site was entered and a large quantity of power tools stolen.  Serial 0163 of 22/01.

 

Gibson Road, Tangmere – On Tuesday 23 January, between 11.05 am and 12.45 pm a property was broken into.  We do not have any further information at the time of writing this bulletin.  Serial 0600 of 23/01.

 

North Street, Chichester – During the early hours of the morning on Thursday 25 January, there was an attempt break to a shop; damage was caused to the door but no entry gained.  Serial 0172 of 25/01.   

 

Delling Lane, Bosham – Overnight on Wednesday 24 January, a business was broken into and electrical items stolen.  Serial 0240 of 25/01. 

 

Thorney Road, Emsworth – Between Friday 5 January and Friday 26 January, a Tohatsu engine was stolen from a boat.  Serial 439 of 26/01.  


Selsey, The Witterings and surrounding area (WC2)


There were no incidents of note. 
 

Midhurst, Petworth and surrounding area (WC3)

 

Chilcrofts Road, Kingsley Green, Haslemere – On Monday 22 January, during the morning a property was broken into; jewellery and other items were stolen.  Serial 0677 of 22/01.

 

Culvers, South Harting – Between Monday 22 January and Sunday 28 January, a van parked on a driveway was broken into; no items reported stolen.  Serial 0327 of 28/01.

 

Wyncombe Close, Fittleworth – Overnight on Saturday 27 January, an insecure vehicle was entered and loose change stolen.  Serial 0392 of 28/01.
