Numerous arrests were made over the weekend in Arun and Chichester. The offences included:- actual bodily harm, excess alcohol, vehicle interference, possession of Class A drug, theft from person, domestic assault, drunk and disorderly and wanted on warrant.

Seven van breaks occurred in Bersted over the weekend where tools were stolen.   Don’t leave tools in vehicles unattended or overnight, and place a sign in the window stating they have been removed. You can print off these leaflet below advising:-

Durban Road, Orchard – On Tuesday 16 January, between 8.15 am and 5.30 pm a vehicle was keyed on the passenger side rear and door.  Serial 1132 of 16/01.


Pennyfields, Felpham – On Sunday 21 January between 9.55 pm and 11.25 pm tyres were slashed to two vehicles.    Serial 1178 of 21/01.

Littlehampton, Arundel and Surround


Dinsdale Gardens, Rustington – Overnight on Monday 15 January there was an attempt break to a garage; no entry was gained.  Serial 1323 of 16/01.


Gloucester Place, Littlehampton – Overnight on Tuesday 16 January, a shed was broken into; no items were stolen.  Serial 0234 of 17/01.


Toddington Park, Wick – On Thursday 18 January during the afternoon, a property was entered and jewellery stolen. Serial 1132 of 18/01.


Park Lane, Slindon – There was a report of a vehicle having been broken into via unknown means and two handbags being stolen from the boot.  Serial 0315 of 21/01.
