Update on last weekend's Operation Blitz activity

Last week we had an interesting evening in Dacre Road car park, Newhaven with a large group of youths who had gathered there. They were chatty and compliant and we had a long conversation about anti-social behaviour and residents perception of the behaviour of the youths when they gather in such locations. These kids requested a bin in the car park so that there was somewhere to put their pop bottles and crisp packets - we shall take this idea to the council.

We appear to have a couple of different groups who use Dacre Road car park however as later in the evening we were called to go back and came across a different group who had been drinking and smashing glass - alcohol was confiscated and the group dispersed.

At The Crouch in Seaford we came across a group of 3 young men who had come out of the local pub to set off fireworks in the recreation ground and smoke a joint. The fireworks and cannabis were seized and a Cannabis Warning issued.
